Becoming a Leader We Need with Strategic Intelligence

A three-day pilot workshop

Course Objectives:

This course is intended for senior leaders and those who aspire to positions of senior leadership in organizations. Previous pilot programs have resulted in a 50% increase in leadership skills as delineated below. Similarly, you can expect to improve as a leader in these areas:

• Create and communicate compelling strategy and vision that go beyond financial goals to include organizational contributions to a better future
• Create, enhance or restore trust with a skeptical workforce
• Inspire, motivate and lead a diverse workforce

• Increase receptivity to change and decrease resistance to change

About the Authors and Facilitators

Dr. Michael Maccoby, a globally recognized expert on leadership, is president of the Maccoby Group, a consulting and education company. He has written or co-authored thirteen books and consulted to leaders in business, government, unions and universities in over 30 countries. He has also directed innovative projects to transform work. He has taught at Harvard, Oxford, the University of Chicago, Sciences Po, the University of California at Santa Cruz, and the Washington School of Psychiatry. His BA and Ph.D. are from Harvard and he is a graduate of the Mexican Psychoanalytic Institute. He is a fellow of the American Psychological and Anthropological Associations and the National Academy of Public Administration.

Tim Scudder, CPA is the Chief Executive Officer of Personal Strengths Publishing, Inc. and Personal Strengths, USA. He leads the implementation of SDI-based relationship building and conflict management efforts through a global network of distributors serving almost 20 languages. He has consulted with the organization development, training, and human resources departments of many corporate, government, military, education and not-for-profit organizations. He is the author or editor of several experiential training programs including: SDI Certification, Relationship Intelligence and Working with Conflict.
