I grade it an A-
The president made a good case for investments in innovation, education and infrastructure, while working to increase exports, cut the deficit and improve the tax system. The minus is because I consider that, besides science and technology, both innovation and a good life require education in the arts and humanities--including history, understanding different cultures and the great works in literature and philosophy.
