A colleague of Michael Maccoby for 40 years, he was principal research associate on Why Work: Leading and Motivating The New Generation, Michael Maccoby, revised edition, Miles River Press, 1996. He was a principal research fellow on the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation-funded study on leadership in exemplary healthcare organizations. Dr. Margolies consulted for 20 years to the senior civilian and military leadership of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He wrote the Corps Learning Organization Doctrine. He designed and taught the Corps leadership seminar based on that doctrine, Leadership for Learning.
Dr. Margolies currently is the Strategic Consultant to the President of a university on developing his leadership and innovation at his university.
